1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to visitors, customers, care recipients, family members, prospective and approved caregivers, partners and authorised users of SantunCare's admin and caregiver portals.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use SantunCare, we may collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and contact preferences;
- service details such as the care recipient's name, requested service, address, date, time, notes and support requirements;
- enquiry, quotation, booking, assignment and service-report information;
- caregiver application, verification, availability, skills and operational information;
- partnership enquiry information; and
- basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure and improve the website.
3. Google sign-in data
Authorised admin and caregiver portal users may sign in with Google. SantunCare requests only the basic OpenID profile information needed to authenticate the account: a Google account identifier, email address, email-verification status and, when available, the user's name.
We use this information only to verify identity, create a secure signed-in session and determine whether the account is authorised for the requested portal. SantunCare does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars or the user's Google password.
4. How we use personal data
We may use personal data to:
- review enquiries and service requests;
- prepare quotations and coordinate confirmed bookings;
- match and manage suitable caregivers and service arrangements;
- communicate about a request, booking, application or partnership enquiry;
- operate and protect authorised accounts and internal systems;
- keep appropriate operational, safety and service records;
- respond to questions, complaints or legal obligations; and
- maintain and improve the reliability of our services.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share only the information reasonably needed with an assigned caregiver or service provider involved in delivering an agreed service, with technology providers that host or support our systems, with professional advisers, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect safety and legal rights.
Where a service provider processes data for SantunCare, we expect it to handle the information only for the relevant service and with appropriate safeguards.
6. Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, our operational records, dispute resolution, safety, and legal or regulatory requirements. We then delete, anonymise or securely restrict the information where appropriate.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to explain the personal data we hold about you, request access or correction, withdraw a consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained where the law or an ongoing service relationship requires it.
8. Children and information about others
If you provide information about another person, including a family member or care recipient, you should have an appropriate reason and authority to do so. SantunCare services and portals are not intended for children to use independently.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, systems or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
